Day 90 - 87%: Not Bad For a Teacher

Wednesday July 15th

Attempt my first 2 GCSE papers. I get them done in an hour each and self mark 87% with a bunch of stupid mistakes. Feel pretty good about that and vow to do more. This dream is interrupted by return of Ellen and Ted from taking tests at Kings'. In the Literacy test, they are asked for an alternative word for strong as in "only the strong survive". Ellen suggests muscular while Ted surpasses himself with buff. God help us. Ellen has also picked up her new uniform and is torn between excitement and dismay. This is fun to watch.

Head back to the house for more cleaning so that it's ready for our worldly belongings tomorrow
