Day 63 - Decisions, Decisions

Thursday June 18th

Went running in the rain at 615 this morning and only the two unemployed nutters turned up. A good run with Kevin and we talked through the Diageo dilemma. I really do not want to go back. Two reasons: 1. The comment made by a former colleague when I asked for his advice "aah, they all come back eventually" and b. I don't want to be distracted (or stressed?) away from the new challenge ahead of me. Think of the money though ..... so I said yes.

Ellen first finished school on Monday so it's been the devil's own job trying to keep her to focused on her exams this week. She seems very laid back which is driving Mrs N nuts. My attitude is more "let's see the results" but we continue to push her so she learns the value of hard work. We shall see.

Spent a lovely evening with Evan and Robert. It seems that they may be heading back in 2010. That would be a smart move. I want to see that boy on the rugby field!
