Day 62 - Ted's All Stars

Wednesday June 17th

Woke up with a sore back after our first night on a futon mattress. Cool in the 1980s they may have been but horrible to sleep on.

Dan Buttling called me today and asked if I would lead a workshop on a whisky strategy for him. My immediate response was no as I made the decision to leave that all behind BUT it is whisky, it is Dan and, in the context of a teacher's salary, it's alot of cash. I said I'd think about it. Mrs N was very clear that there was only one right decision.

This evening we had Ted's testimonial game. I'm pretty sure he knew about it but did a good job of hiding it. It was a good laugh to see him play with all his mates. The All Stars ran out 4-0 winners thanks to superior coaching from me. Ray was a lousy coach but put together some great t-shirts for the kids. [see match report below]
