Day 73 - 1969 revisited in Central Park

Sunday June 28th

Our last weekend and we decided to go into Manhattan. Everyone except for Ellen that is, who decided she was going to church instead. Took the FLIP with me to capture a few last moments.

Walked up to Central Park and surprised Alice and Bridget with a ride on the horse and buggy. They loved it and little did I know that 40 years ago almost to the week, my Mum and Dad took us out for the day in Central Park and went on the buggy ride, THE DAY BEFORE WE LEFT THE US. 40 years, unbelievable...I must go and dig out the photos from 1969 and compare to my video.

Had a very mellow dinner with the Shaeffers. Things are getting more and more subdued as the hours count down.
