Day 74 - Marriott, Newark Airport

Monday June 29th

It's finally here! Up early and headed over to Yonkers to hand over the Explorer to Tim. It was interesting. We take the plates in, get his new plates and then I have to drive the car 200 yds up the road. I was a bag of nerves. It felt like I had never driven it before. Curious.

Got a ride back and stopped at Antoinette's for a final latte with Bob and said goodbye to Kus. He promised me a welcome pack of coffee in England. Excellent!

Got back to Peggy's and waited for the family to come together from the 4 corners of town. We packed up in Orca and headed out into the sunset..kind of. To be honest, our departure was very low key which was fine by me and we got to the hotel, said our goodbyes and spent the whole afternoon lying on our beds watching Wimbledon. Ellen only had one meltdown, which was nice
