Day 168 - 824 Enigma

Thursday October 1st

824 are my enigma. Pitching work to them at the right level is proving hard for me as I seem to be getting it more wrong than right. I tried an off the shelf activity with them today on temperatures but they really struggled, didn't seem to enjoy it and therefore played up a bit. Adding and subtracting negative numbers is one of those things you get or don't get I suppose.

Thank God I have a training day tomorrow as I am very tired and not sure I could plan and deliver two lessons tomorrow. There is definitely a pattern to my week whereby I start of strong and then see to run out of puff by about Wednesday. Need to manage that better.

Track again tonight and ran with my new team mates. Great Clarendon Run on Sunday - marathon relay with me on 3rd Leg

Day 159 - Pros v Joes

Tuesday September 22nd

What comes after pride? Not such a great day today as I didn't connect with the 10.2.2 class I had to the extent I thought I would. It wasn't bad but I let them off the hook a bit on delivering against the task I had set and not sure they learnt anything. 65 minutes just flies by.

Went to my first track coaching session for WADAC and finally got to experience some proper training. Other than screwing up the various sets I felt good and my pace was quick. What a difference a track makes after weeks of road and track. The spring was extraordinary and I felt like I was going fast. Clocked 5:53 mile without pushing it so will definitely attempt a time trial soon.
