Saturday June 27th
Ed Beglane named this the "Farewell Tour" because we seem to have been leaving forever. It's starting to feel like it for us as well but we said we would stay through the weekend so that the kids got to say good bye to their friends. In hindsight we should have left yesterday after school finished.
Went to say a last goodbye to Fred at Tim's flat. He had the kids there so we stayed for a while and then had to go back again to try and save Ted's retainer from the compactor. No luck. Squished
Spent the evening at the Wilts including a very relaxing dip in the hot tub. I'll miss that. Anthony played the "we're naked in the hot tub" trick on everyone. Debbie loved that...

Day 71 - Arthur Avenue
Friday June 26th
Off to Darien for a briefing on G&B's from Ted. It turned very quickly into lunch where we met Clare Doherty's doppelganger at the restaurant. Not only did she look like her but she was Welsh and had a twin sister. Bizarre.
Once more without the children tonight (Ted went off to watch Shakespeare no less) so we went off to Arthur Avenue with Deb and Anthony for dinner. It was pretty empty due to the rain so we had a fun night out finishing with cigars and espresso. The cigars are becoming habitual
